From the tee here on
hole 9 at Rouken Glen you are faced with a beautifully wide,
rising fairway that really invites you to hit a long and
hard drive. Going slightly right here for some reason seems
to give you a better approach to the green than a dead straight
shot.
Potential pitfalls to avoid with your drive are obvious;
too far left and you will find long, harsh rough where you
risk losing your ball in the summer when it is allowed to
overgrow. Extreme right and you will find scattered trees. |
