The picture above somehow
makes this 16th at Rouken Glen look further than it actually
is and there's a case for saying this is the easiest par
you will find on the Rouken Glen course. The only caveat
relates to the weather which in very wet conditions can
result in your ball plugging if you stray to the left of
the center ground.
In dry weather when the ground is fast it makes sense to
think in terms of bouncing just before the green and running
up onto it, especially if stopping a ball dead is an issue
for you. That said, there is nothing wrong with trying here
as overshooting does not come at any major cost. |
