Anywhere on the fairway
or the medium rough that flanks it is good, beyond that
you are involved with heavier rough and scattered trees
and are innevitably going to struggle.
The key, of course, is to try and overcome the distance
in two and this will be difficult for less experienced players
who are nevertheless advised to sacrafice distance for accuracy
and remain on the fairway at all costs, even it it means
dropping a shot (a damage limitation policy makes a lot
of sense here if you are not a big hitter).
