a good impression of the potential problems and hazards
that congregate on the bend of this doglegged fairway.
With second strokes it's best to avoid going left of the
green if possible, staying clear of the mounds which often
hinder play around there. Much better to go right of the
green where the ground is flat and more predictable, although,
naturally, straight for the pin is better still. The green
here is unusually fast and that should be taken into account.
Note the negative potential of the ditch that runs across
the fairway -- playing out of there is unlikely -- and if
distance is an issue for you there is nothing wrong with
laying up short for a reasonably straight-forward second
towards the green. |
